The eel

On foot or aboard a boat you can enter the world of the eel. Nature, environment and history, intertwined with the tradition of fishing, are the things that emerge from the visit to the Casoni di Valle (fishing or guard huts) restored to the original system. Pegoraro, Serilla and Coccalino represent a cross-section of life in the lagoon, offering tools, facilities and furnishings used by the men of the valley. In Casone Foce station a documentation centre has been set up with photographic panels and audiovisual systems that illustrates the special natural and environmental peculiarities of this valley.
