Nature and History
The Argenta itinerary begins with a visit to the CHIESA DI S. LORENZO and the CAPUCHIN CONVENT. Before leaving the centre stop at the TOWN ART GALLERY, then follow the road towards Campotto and you will come across the PIEVE DI SAN GIORGIO. Continuing southwards you can nature watch from the bird watching post located on the Cassa Campotto riverbank finally arriving at the CASINO DI CAMPOTTO, seat of the Argenta Valleys Museum.

Water, sky and bicycles
The bicycle route that takes you from the PIEVE DI SAN GIORGIO to the CASINO DI CAMPOTTO and THE VALLEY MUSEUM runs on top of the river bank that runs past the CASSA BASSARONE and the CASSA DI ESPANSIONE DI CAMPOTTO. This is an 8 Km stretch that runs across the whole lagoon area covered with water lilies, water gentian, reeds, bulrushes and other beautiful plant life.

All the shades of green
On Thursdays, holidays and pre-holidays it is possible to park your car in the area adjacent to the VALLESANTA and rent a bicycle to cycle around the whole valley perimeter, approx 9 km. During the week it is possible to cycle around only 6 km.
