Further north along the coast is the city of Codigoro, a large agricultural centre in the Basso Ferrarese which, over the last few decades, has acquired a certain industrial importance, especially in the processing of agricultural products. The territory of Codigoro includes the Romanesque Abbey of Pomposa – a “must-see” for tourists interested in architecture and art, where there is also a concert season of increasing popularity. |
